Tokyo Ska Paradise Orchestra Release Digital EP, Chienowa

One of the world's most thrilling ska group Tokyo Ska Paradise Orchestra has released a new digital-only EP, Chienowa, available now on all streaming platforms.

The new EP follows the release of their latest album Paradise Has No Border, which features Inspector and Los Auténticos Decadentes

The four-track album also highlights the group's collaboration with Ging Nang Boyz singer Kazunobu Mineta on the title track. Meanwhile, Brazilian rapper and producer Emicida gives "Samurai Dreamers" (feat. Takuma of 10 Feet) from TSPO's previous album Paradise Has No Border the remix treatment.

The EP includes a live version of "Rain Again" that was recorded at Drum Logos in Fukuoka, Japan plus an instrumental version of the title track.

The album comes hot on the heels of the group's performance at the Non Stop Ska Festival in Mexico City where thousands pogoed to the sounds of TSPO.

In 2017, Tokyo Ska Paradise Orchestra, known for their visually-engaging and incredibly infectious live shows, released Paradise Has No Border. TSPO has a lot of love for their Latino fans and their energetic shows have defied language barriers - winning over audiences around the globe. With previous instrumental covers of songs by artists such as Cafe Tacuba, the new album features the band's first-ever Spanish-language collaborations with Mexican ska icons Inspector ("Más Allá del Universo") and Argentine party starters Los Auténticos Decadentes.

"Known for their freestylin' live shows, sharp suits, and tight musicianship [TSPO] boasts a dynamic blend of rock, jazz, ska, and punk." - CRAVE

From their beginnings in the Japanese club scene, Tokyo Ska Paradise Orchestra rose to fame in their native country and have taken their live show worldwide, performing to festival audiences in Europe, the United States, and Latin America, including Glastonbury, Supersonico, Coachella, and Vive Latino. TSPO are celebrating their 29th anniversary this year.
