La Bulla Brings the Noise at Plaza de la Raza
Antonio Pelayo Productions once again brought the annual La Bulla Festival to Plaza de la Raza in Los Angeles for a fourth time. The Lucha Libre (Mexican wrestling) themed event came back with full force with live music, live painting, wrestling, an art exhibit, food, drinks and a great time for all.
This year's festival paid homage to Lucha Libre legend Mil Mascaras. Artists had the opportunity to demonstrate their skills by exhibiting a wooden canvas shaped like a mask in their own unique style. From personalized engraving to political statements the talent thrived in this years exhibition.
Los Angeles comedians Tania Estrada and Anthony "Critic" Campos were this year's lively hosts.
The dual stages brought several bands to provide the musical sounds: Lancaster's Captain Smooth Talk, Burbank's Alien Dance Band and Inland Empire's Quitapenas as the night's headliner.
Creator and producer of La Bulla, Antonio Pelayo, proudly presents this annual event as a tribute to the culture of Lucha Libre and in honor of his father, the late Antonio Pelayo Sr. This event focuses on raising funds for Plaza de la Raza, the cultural arts and educational center for the local youth and community.
