CAKE and Ben Folds Co-headline at Golden 1 Center in Sacramento

Alternative veterans, CAKE and Ben Folds are continuing their co-headlining Tour of American venues and will be heading to the west coast including a stop in CAKE’s home town at Sacramento’s Golden 1 Center on September 11, 2019.

“CAKE are masters, and they happen to be my friends,” said Folds in a statement. “So, yes, let’s do this!” CAKE front man John McCrea added, “We had so much fun with Ben last summer that we decided to do it again, this time in the west.” CAKE multi-instrumentalist and backing vocalist Vince DiFiore chimed in with, “Last year we had the great honor to tour with Ben, who inspired us with incredible musicianship and memorable songs. It was sad to end that tour, so now a great thrill to be anticipating another with the actual artistic advisor to the National Symphony Orchestra.”

Cake and Ben Folds began their co-headlining tour with shows in Miami and Nashville in the spring and in early summer moved up the east coast, making room for a stop at the Latitude Festival in Suffolk, UK and returning back to the states to finish up the east coast began moving westward.
