"Noviembre" - New Album by Los Bunkers

Los Bunkers is the most influential Chilean rock band of the last two decades and despite the group’s hiatus of nearly ten years, they have resurfaced with overwhelming triumph in 2023. Today, following the successful release of their singles “Rey,” “Bajo Los Árboles,” “Calles de Talcahuano,” “Infiel,” and “Ya no te esperaré,” which together have amounted to more than 4.5 million streams across platforms, Los Bunkers finally unveil their highly anticipated new album “Noviembre.”

Thrilling fans around the world with their unique rock sound for nearly 15 years after their start in 1999, releasing seven albums and racking up a number of significant successes that included being one of three Chilean acts to appear at Lollapalooza in Chicago in 2011, Los Bunkers began their hiatus in 2014. Their absence in the music scene was overwhelmingly noticeable during the nine plus years that followed, and they continued growing as the most streamed rock band on various digital platforms despite the fact that they stopped releasing new music.

Making a brief comeback to perform in support of the social protests in Chile, Los Bunkers announced that they would officially return in 2022, unveiling the first date in a series of arena shows that took place this year. In just eight hours, they sold 34,000 tickets for their show that took place on March 11, 2023, which not only made it abundantly clear that they were sorely missed during their hiatus, but also offered a glimpse of the extraordinary success that they would go on to experience in 2023.

Los Bunkers brought their impressive Ven Aquí tour through Mexico earlier this year, which featured a headlining performance in front of more than 50,000 people at the legendary Foro Sol and a SOLD-OUT show at Mexico City’s Auditorio Nacional in June. They also made an impactful appearance at Pa’l Norte Festival, and in October, they were one of the headlining acts during the opening ceremony of the Pan American Games in Chile. In August.

After experiencing incredible success recently with their Ven Aquí tour in Colombia and Peru, now with “Noviembre,” Los Bunkers begin an exciting new era, presenting a total of 15 songs—10 of them brand new—that preserve the unmistakable musical essence that has defined each of their albums and that reinforce why they have remained at the forefront of Latin music for decades.

In addition to their previous singles “Rey,” “Bajo Los Árboles,” “Calles de Talcahuano,” “Infiel,” and “Ya no te esperaré,” “Noviembre” features the beloved band’s new single of the same name, which also serves as the project’s opening track. The song’s profound lyrics and unrivaled melody stand out in the official music video that was filmed in Mexico City and directed by Starboy. Available now on the group’s official YouTube channel, the clip promises to surprise viewers with the participation of a number of unexpected special guests.

Looking ahead to 2024, Los Bunkers will begin the new year with a huge show in their native Chile and will also continue its popular Ven Aquí tour, in addition to making a long-awaited appearance at Chile’s famed Viña del Mar International Song Festival.
